Get hyped because it’s time for my most anticipated book of the year. I’m aware that we’re already well into 2018 but I was determined to get this post out and there are still so many releases I’m excited about. I’ll be listing my 18 most anticipated releases of 2018 in order of their release date. I’ve included some books that have already been released, but I haven’t read them yet and I’m still very excited. I’m always conflicted about new releases because I probably don’t need to add more books to be TBR and there are so many books I need to read. So, starting from January…
Today I’m going to do an unboxing for the Page Habit: October YA box. This is my first time trying a bookish subscription box which was super exciting, so I wanted to document my experience of it. I am not a Page Habit rep, nor have I received anything in exchange for this post. Yes, this post is a little late considering it’s December… So with that out of the way, let’s see what goods were contained in October’s box.
As I have mentioned multiple times, I’m behind on my 2017 reading challenge so I’m participating in my 2nd reading challenge this year: Readings Crossing.
This challenge is an Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp inspired reading challenge with a bingo board style with 4 themed paths: Cute, Cool, Natural and Sporty. I have been playing this mobile version of Animal Crossing and I’ve been kind of addicted so it might be good to put this energy into reading.
The challenge runs until the end of the year from:
Sunday, 10th December 2017
Sunday, 31st December 2017.
This exciting challenge has been created by the creator of #TheReadingQuest: Aentee @ Read at Midnight. All the graphics in this post are also created by Aentee.
If this sounds like fun, you can sign up or learn more about the challenge HERE! Now to the books I’m planning to read and challenges I’m attempting to tackle…
I have a VERY exciting post today because I’m going to be participating in my first reading challenge ever: The Reading Quest.
The challenge is an epic journey to conquer your TBR pile in a video game quest style. You can join a bunch of adventurers (readers) to choose characters, level up, and READ! Doesn’t it sound awesome!?!
Hope you’re having a wonderful day. If not, maybe this tag shall cheer you up because HAMILTON! Firstly, if you don’t know what in the world I’m talking about, let me explain the awesomeness that Hamilton the Musical is. It is a “hip-hop” musical about the life of a U.S. founding father, Alexander Hamilton.
*Cue track 1*
Funny enough, I actually discovered Hamilton through watching this tag and have since been obsessed. I believe everyone should listen to the soundtrack – ALL the way through. It’s very accessible and a phenomenal lyrical masterpiece. You won’t get the entire hype if you don’t pay attention to the lyrics. Seriously. It’s so clever and witty and very catchy. Also Lin-Manuel Miranda (the genius behind it) is the most adorable human ever. Okay I’m going to stop raving and rambling and get into the part you actually came here for. This tag was created by Maureen from maureenkeavy – watch her video HERE. I wasn’t tagged by anyone but continue if you want to know my responses…
There are so many interesting books coming out in 2017 so just let me flail around with excitement for a bit. I don’t know if it’s making me more excited or stressed because there are so many books I want to read, series I need to finish and series i need to start. Just casually drowning in my TBR. So today I’m listing my 17 most anticipated releases of 2017 which are listed according to their release date.
I was tagged by Ellie from Capitol Books to do this tag and since I’m pretty busy right now so what better time to do the Rapid* fire book tag. You can find her post HERE. I believe this tag was originally made by the booktube channel GirlReading and here video can be found HERE. Now let’s get into it!
* Originally, I accidentally typed rabid instead of rapid and for some reason find that hilarious. Don’t worry this tag isn’t going to be that extreme.
